According to preliminarily statistics of Customs, China's total import and export in Jan. through Apr. in 2008 amounted to US$791.14 billion, up by 24.4% on a year-on-year basis. Of which export was US$424.57 billion and import US$366.57 billion, up by 21.5% and 27.9% respectively. In Apr., total import and export in the nation reached US$220.74 billion, up by 23.9%. Of which export was US$118.71 billion and import US$102.03 billion, up by 21.8% and 26.3% respectively.
